Problem
The average engineering team runs 12+ tools and none of them talk to each other. Context lives in Jira comments, Slack threads, meeting transcripts, and Confluence pages two reorgs out of date. Engineers lose close to 9 hours a week hunting for information, onboarding drags past three months, and when a senior engineer leaves, most of what they knew leaves with them.
Approach
MyrmexIQ connects the tools a team already uses via read-only API credentials — no migration, no workflow change — indexes everything with hybrid vector + keyword retrieval, and answers plain-English questions with citations back to the source ticket, thread, or doc. On top of search: an 8-tool AI agent that drafts Jira tickets and Slack messages behind human approval; an Investigation Hub that correlates Jira, Slack, code, and live AWS CloudTrail / CloudWatch data into a shareable incident report; a data-sensitivity scanner for secrets and PII across historical data; and per-project isolation so each team scopes its own sources. Multi-tenant FastAPI backend, ChromaDB vector store, React + Vite front end, five swappable AI models with bring-your-own-keys.
Outcome
Engineers stop tab-hopping to answer one question, incidents get root-caused from an automatically correlated timeline instead of manual detective work, and institutional knowledge stays searchable after people move on.
